BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) -- The Fox 44 News and NBC 33 News branding will now be known as Louisiana First News. Louisiana is like no other. Our food, our music, our culture and our people are authentic and beyond compare. Fox 44 and NBC 33 are proud to announce the launch of Louisiana First News,  a unified news endeavor rooted in our authentic culture and dedicated to providing all the information Louisianians want and need to know. "Louisiana is more than just a place—it’s a way of life,” VP/General Manager Tim Ingram said. “By uniting the Fox 44 and NBC 33 News teams under one banner, Louisiana First News is poised to provide even greater value to our viewers and users. This is about honoring our shared history while creating a stronger, unified voice for our community." Our Storm Tracker Weather team will also debut a new graphics look. Things may be changing, but our news and weather team remains committed to bringing the latest news and most accurate weather forecasts in the capital region. "In an era of rapid change and shrinking local news coverage, the need for dedicated grassroots reporting has never been greater. Louisiana First News will be there to fill that gap," Ingram said. “We are driven by a passion for authentic storytelling and a deep respect for the communities and people we serve.” Expect additional changes going forward.
