Man, 61, arrested in deadly hitandrun on Buck Owens Blvd

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- A 61-year-old man was arrested Thursday in connection with a hit-and-run crash in March that killed a pedestrian, Bakersfield police said.
Floyd Luster was no longer listed in custody as of Friday afternoon; charges had not yet been filed against him.

Luster is accused of driving a white hatchback that hit a man on the evening of March 29 on Buck Owens Boulevard then left the scene.
The pedestrian, Antonio Enrique Arjona, 41, was declared dead at the scene.
Police said traffic investigators worked with the Kern County Sheriff's Office -- which received suspect information -- and identified Luster as the driver.
