A 70-year-old Huntley woman was killed this week in a multiple-car collision on Randall Road in Carpentersville. The woman, whose identity has not been released, was attempting to take a left turn from northbound Randall on to Binnie Road about 4:50 p.m. Wednesday when her vehicle was struck by an SUV headed southbound on Randall, a Carpentersville Police Department news release said. The victim was taken to Advocate Sherman Hospital in Elgin, where she was pronounced dead, the report said. The Kane County Office of Emergency Management and the Kane County Accident  Reconstruction Team are handling the investigation. They are examining video footage of the crash obtained from a passing vehicle with an onboard camera, the release said. Anyone with additional information or video is asked to contact detective Sgt.
