WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- The week of January 5 is wrapping up the way it started: with snow in the forecast.
As of Friday morning, DC News Now meteorologists expected that the storm system that's making its way towards the DMV would bring anywhere from a trace to 4 inches, depending on where you are in D.C., Maryland, or Virginia.
A Winter Weather Advisory was in place for portions of the area beginning Friday night and stretching into Saturday. The portions of the region within the advisory area could see 2 to 4 inches of snow. Those closer to the D.C. metro area are in the range of a trace of snow to 2 inches.
