Good morning and happy Friday! A very happy Friday if you’re one of the people who has been hoping for a warm-up! While it’s not going to be anywhere near toasty, temperatures will get back to, if not a degree or two above average. Highs will be in the upper 30s, with a few hitting 40 degrees. Winds won’t be calm, but won’t be nearly as gusty as the last few days. We’ll keep the sun around for most of the day as well. That said, clouds increase late this afternoon/early this evening ahead of our next storm. This storm is a monster for millions, from the southern plains to the mid-south. For us? It’s not nearly as exciting. We’ll see snow showers begin in the very early hours of Saturday morning. They’ll continue on and off into Saturday afternoon. It looks like, at this point, we could see a widespread coating to an inch of snow by the time they’re gone. Some localized areas may see up to two inches of snow. Not going to set any records, but take it easy on the roads if you’re heading out on Saturday. Sunday will be mostly sunny with temperatures in the mid to upper 30s. It will be breezy, but not nearly as windy as the last few days. Monday, we keep the sunshine around and temperatures will hover on either side of 40 degrees. Our next chance of any snowflakes would be with a few possible flurries on Tuesday! Categories: News, Weather Forecast
