OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR) — Oklahomans took full advantage of the season's first major snowfall Thursday, transforming a berm at Scissortail Park into an impromptu sledding hill, building snowmen, and holding snowball fights. With many school districts cancelling class Thursday, kids traded schoolbooks for sleds, building snowmen, throwing snowballs, and enjoying a rare winter day in the city. News 4 viewers shared photos of their kids taking part in the fun. Nicole and Maliki. Image courtesy Nicole Pirtle.January Snow Day in Oklahoma.
