SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC 36 NEWS NOW) — Officials in Scott County confirm no injuries were reported after a train derailment occurred in Sadieville on Thursday. According to the City of Sadieville, the train cars and tankers involved in the incident were empty at the time of the derailment. City officials stated that Norfolk Southern, the operator of the train, has contacted RJ Corman to assist with cleanup efforts. The cause of the derailment remains under investigation.
