Restaurant Week Kansas City Restaurant Week starts this weekend and lasts for ten days. Monster Jam T-Moblie Center is hosting Monster Jam, which is promised to be filled with jaw-dropping stunts. Various drivers, including world champions, will drive Monster Jam's monster trucks this weekend. Ticket prices vary and can be purchased online or at the door. Chicago Broadway meets the Crossroads this weekend as PNC Broadway in Kansas City presents Chicago. The Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts will host five shows this weekend, with afternoon and evening showtimes available.  KCMO Boat Show The boat show is back for all enthusiasts looking for the latest innovations, fishing gear, and outdoor lifestyle products. Tickets for adults are $13.75, and children under 12 get in free! KC Remodel and Garden Show This weekend, you could join over 23,000 homeowners attending the KC Remodel and Garden Show. The show helps homeowners gather information on landscape and remodeling ideas. Friday exhibits are open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Saturdays are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Kansas City-area school closings, remote learning for Friday, January 10 Hygiene kit drive Kansas City Public Library’s AmeriCorps Programs is collecting travel-sized hygiene products for the Martin Luther King Jr. National Day of Service. Those wishing to help can drop off supplies at any Kansas City public library location this weekend through Jan. 16. Cerverus Pop-up Cafe Every weekend this January, Casual Animal Brewery will host Cerverus Cafe for a food pop-up from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. The menu varies, but Saturday's meal will be a Mac and Cheese bar, with mac and cheese served three different ways.
