NOBLESVILLE, Ind. – A legendary moment from Ruoff Music Center’s 2021 concert season is now being pressed onto vinyl.  According to the band's website, Phish's sixth installment of its "Live Phish on LP" series will feature the performances of "Simple" and "Blaze On" from the band's show on Aug. 6, 2021, at the Ruoff Music Center. These performances are from the band's rescheduled 2021 dates at the Noblesville venue after Phish postponed its 2020 dates because of the COVID-19 pandemic. This sixth installment lasts more than 52 minutes and features 20+ minute versions of each song. According to the description of the installment, the band's performance of "Simple" on Aug. 6, 2021 is a "lush performance displaying the band's expanding and experimental sonic palette." The featured performance of "Blaze On" is the band's longest version to date and is "funky, must-hear Phish." ‘Piano Man’ Billy Joel, Sting to headline concert at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2025 "These two cuts highlight modern-day peak Phish in a summer soiree at a favorite spot in what was once the cornfields of Indiana," the description reads. According to previous reports, Phish has played more than 30 shows at the Noblesville venue, formerly called the Deer Creek Music Center, the Verizon Wireless Music Center and the Klipsch Music Center. Phish also announced the fifth installment of the LP on LP series on Monday. This 38-minute installment will feature the songs “Twist” and “Stash” from a show on the band's famed Island Tour on April 2, 1998, at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York.  The other installments of the series have included celebrated live moments from the band, including the "Ruby Waves" performance from July 2019 and the performance of "Ghost" from May 2000. Both of the new installments to the series are expected to hit stores in February.
