SUMMERVILLE, S.C. (WCBD) – Authorities are investigating after shots were fired at a Summerville residence on Thursday evening.
Officers with the Summerville Police Department responded to an address on W 1st N Street around 6 p.m. for a report of shots heard in the area.
The person who reported the incident told officers she heard roughly eight popping noises that she believed to be gunfire. Officers found multiple shell casings in the street and in front of the residents, and several bullet holes in front of the home.
Officers met with two individuals who were inside the home watching TV at the time. The two men were not injured but did not provide many details to the officers.
