(KRON) -- A UC Berkeley football player is among those who lost their home in this week's devastating Los Angeles fires. Freshman tight end Camden Jones' family home was destroyed in the Eaton Fire, according to a GoFundMe started by the mother of another Cal football player.
The Jones family is from Altadena. Camden, his parents and their Labradoodle were all able to evacuate safely, the GoFundMe said.
Still, the house and everything inside were lost. Belongings, personal items and Camden's football memorabilia went up in flames.

Camden's sister Chelsea was married recently, and her wedding gifts were inside the home when it burned.
"This lovely family has suffered devastating losses, they have lost everything," the GoFundMe said.
The Ringer podcaster Van Lathan is among those who tweeted support for the Jones family and asked the public to help with donations.
The GoFundMe aimed to raise $35,000, and its goal was met by the end of Thursday.
Jones is a four-star tight end out of Maranatha High School. He redshirted for the 2024 season.
