$10,000 donation made to 'Concerns of Police Survivors'

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A $10,000 check was donated to 'Concerns of Police Survivors' on Thursday.

The donation is all thanks to '364 Gives', which is the charitable arm of the IBPO Local 364 Springfield Patrolman's Union.
The money was raised at the annual Kevin Ambrose Memorial Golf Tournament back in September. Officer Kevin Ambrose was shot and killed in the line of duty in 2012.
Since 2011, the foundation has donated more than around $200,000 to more than 20 deserving organizations that support vital public safety initiatives or enhance children’s lives in the community
