MLK weekend in Philadelphia includes volunteer opportunities, concerts and discounted museum admissions

For the Martin Luther King Jr. Day weekend there will be special events at the African American Museum of Philadelphia, the Museum of the American Revolution and the National Constitution Center. Fairmount Park Conservancy and Franklin Square has volunteer opportunities and the Philadelphia Orchestra hosts a concert. The MLK Day holiday is Jan. 20.
