WILLOW SPRING, N.C. (WNCN) — A body was found in a burned shed after a fire in Willow Spring Thursday, Wake County deputies said. According to the Wake County Sheriff's Office, the Fuquay-Varina Fire Department responded to a shed fire behind a home on Panther Lake Road. During the incident, they discovered a body inside the shed. Deputies said they were called to the scene to assist Fuquay-Varina firefighters after the body was found. According to the sheriff's office, deputies are working in conjunction with fire officials and the medical examiner's office to determine the cause of death and the origin of the fire.
