FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) — A hot new exhibit is set to open at the Foellinger Freimann Botanical Conservatory on Saturday. Floor is Lava brings the classic childhood game to life. Visitors can battle obstacles surrounded by tropical reds and orange flora. In an interview with WANE 15, General Manager Nate Cardelli said the interactive exhibit holds different "courses" for various levels of abilities. Cardelli said the conservatory wanted to create a space downtown for young ones to play without catching a cold. "It's not as treacherous as that Netflix show was," Cardelli said. "It's something a little bit more laid back, but still a great experience for the kids to come in and run off some steam." The exhibit opens on Saturday at the Foellinger Freimann Botanical Conservatory on 1100 South Calhoun St. The conservatory is open: Tuesday - Saturday: 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Thursday: 10 a.m. - 8 p.m. Sunday: Noon - 4 p.m. Find ticket prices on the conservatory's website.
