FRANKTOWN, Colo. The bulk of a garage fire in Franktown has been extinguished, according to the Franktown Fire Department. The fire sparked at a home on Fox Creek Trail Thursday evening. Flames and smoke were visible along Highway 83. No injuries have been reported, and there is no threat to neighbors, according to Franktown Fire. In an update, Franktown Fire said the bulk of the fire had been extinguished and crews were working to "ensure the fire is completely out and to address any remaining hot spots." South Metro Fire Rescue responded to the scene with a tender, batallion chief and safety officer.
