WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) – Wichita Public Schools announced that schools will be closed on Friday, Jan. 10, due to weather conditions.
All non-attendance centers and district offices will be closed as well.
This closing comes after portions of central and south central Kansas were upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning Thursday evening.

Any additional weather updates will be posted on the district’s website and social media.
Multiple school districts have closed classes for Friday, citing these weather conditions. In addition, Wichita, Maize, Andover, Haysville, Goddard, and Derby are closed.
Not every district is calling off classes on Friday. Some are under a two-hour delay.
As for colleges, Kansas Health Science University is closed Friday, but remote learning is in effect.
