HS Boys Basketball Wrap: Hopewell Valley tops Princeton for 7th straight win

HOPEWELL TWP. — Dean Mantuano led all scorers with 21 points and the Hopewell Valley boys basketball team beat Princeton Day, 58-49, in Colonial Valley Conference crossover action on Thursday night.
Milan Desai finished with 15 points and Jude Berman added 11 for the Bulldogs (8-2), who won their seventh straight game.
Gary Jennings paced the Panthers (3-5) with 15 points and Adam Stewart had 10.
Lawrence 64, Princeton 49
PRINCETON — Noah Johansen scored 15 points, Sachin Kotta added 15 and Marcus McNeil chipped in 11 as the Cardinals (7-4) continued to play well in a victory over the Tigers (1-7). Michael Bees Jr. put in a game-best 21 for Princeton.
Nottingham 63, WW-PS 31
HAMILTON — Liam Cox netted 21 points, Chris Dormevil added 17 and the Northstars (5-4) got back in the win column by knocking off the Pirates (2-10). Josiah Cureton scored 12 for South.
Robbinsville 63, Hamilton West 60
ROBBINSVILLE — Tyler Bunnell scored 22 points, Liam Butler finished with 13 and Frank Pagano chipped in 10 as the Ravens (6-5) held on to deny the Hornets (0-10) a first win. Sean Turner had 22 points for Hamilton and Nakye Bradshaw put in 11.

EWING — Joel Cineus went off for 24 points, Michael Upshur scored 13, Terrance Traylor had 12 and the Blue Devils (6-3) rolled past the Redbirds (2-6). frank Varricchio led Allentown with 14 points and Mattox Watson had 13.

HIGHTSTOWN — Jason Whitlock scored 14 points, Christian Kingwood had 13 and the Rams (6-5) used a balanced effort offensively to easily beat the Spartans (0-9). Thomas Ditta and Will Freeman had 12 each for Steinert.
