STATESBORO, Ga. (WSAV) – Statesboro detectives are looking for a suspect accused of shooting a man in the leg in what appears to have been a personal dispute, officials said.
57-year-old London Bell, of Statesboro, was already wanted on prior felony warrants and now faces an aggravated assault charge.
Just before 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, officers from the Statesboro Police Department responded to a Flock gunshot detection alert.

They arrived on the scene — a dirt lot on Pine Street — to find a 55-year-old man suffering from a gunshot wound to the upper leg.
Officers rendered aid until Bulloch County EMS arrived on the scene, Statesboro PD said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and then flown to a Savannah hospital for treatment. He is expected to be OK.
