SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) -- Monday's NFL Wild Card playoff game between the Vikings and Rams has been moved from California to Arizona.
The game was initially scheduled to be played at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California. The Rams won the NFC West, earning the opportunity to host a playoff game.
The game will now be played at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona.
However, the decision to move the game was based on the Palisades Fires and the destruction that has followed.
The NFL along with the two teams made the announcement on Thursday night.
"The fires didn't reach SoFi Stadium or cause any damage in the immediate area, but thick, billowing smoke has resulted in dangerously low air quality," the Vikings said in their press release.
The Vikings and Rams will play in Arizona on Monday. Kick-off is set for 7 p.m.
