BISMARCK, ND (KXNET) — Two chief positions for North Dakota Game and Fish were filled earlier this week by two long-time members of the organization. Bruce Kreft, conservation section leader since 2023, was promoted to conservation and communications chief when Greg Link retired after 45 years with the agency. Kreft, a Towner native, started his career in Game and Fish as a fisheries technician in 1989. He has since worked as an assistant Missouri River biologist, central district fisheries biologist, and conservation biologist. The conservation and communications division educates and promotes fish and wildlife related opportunities, manages nongame species and species of conservation priority, and consults with developers to avoid, minimize, and offset impacts on fish and wildlife resources.
