The 16-year-old girl who police said was shot and killed during an Aurora home invasion on Tuesday was identified by the Arapahoe County Coroner’s Office as a Denver North High School student. Audrina Fedelina Arrington was killed Tuesday after two men entered her family’s apartment in the 10600 block of East Jewell Avenue around 6:15 a.m., Aurora police Capt. Marc Paolino said. Police said Arrington was found inside the apartment with a gunshot wound, but coroner officials said her cause and manner of death were still under investigation Thursday. “It is with a heavy heart that we share with you that Audrina Arrington, one of our students, passed away a day ago,” Denver North High School principal German Echevarria wrote in a letter to students and families. “Audrina was a beloved student and our community is sad and hurting over the tragic news of her passing.
