POTOMAC, Md. (DC News Now) -- The Real Housewives of Potomac (RHOP) recorded its Season 9 reunion on Thursday, but it looks like the audience won't be seeing the show's "Grande Dame."
Karen Huger, who was found guilty of driving under the influence in December 2024, does not appear on the reunion's seating chart, which Bravo posted on its Instagram account.
The image shows host Andy Cohen flanked by Mia Thornton and Gizelle Bryant. Cast members Stacey Rusch, Wendy Osefo, Ashley Darby, and Kiearna Stewart round out the lineup.
Who is Real Housewives of Potomac star Karen Huger?
Huger was arrested for DUI in Montgomery County in March 2024 after she was involvied in a crash near Oaklyn Drive in Potomac.
In body-camera footage from the Montgomery County Department of Police, an officer explains that Huger’s Maserati crossed over the median and hit a pole before the Maserati crashed into a tree.
Huger told police that “nothing really” happened, stating that someone ran her off the road, although she didn’t remember the kind of vehicle involved. Huger stated that she was coming from a friend’s house and had a couple of beers.
Officers said they found a bottle of Stella Artois in the Maserati.
On Dec. 18, 2024 a jury found Huger guilty of driving under the influence, negligent driving, failure to control speed to avoid a collision and Failure to notify of an address change.
Her sentencing was scheduled for Jan. 29, 2025. She faces up to two years in jail.
The incident was a major part of Huger's storyline during Season 9 of RHOP. She talked very little about it, indicating she would address it more fully once it was resolved in the court system.
The Daily Dish said it obtained a statement from Huger's manager Thursday explaining that she did not attent the reunion because she entered a recovery program.
