Roads southwest of Wichita becoming snowpacked

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) - Highways west and southwest of Wichita are becoming snowpacked as winter weather moves into the state.

In Barber County, emergency management reports a two-vehicle accident on K-2 near the bridge. Visibility is all reported to be less than a quarter of a mile.

The KSN Storm Track 3 Weather Team says several Kansas counties are under a winter weather advisory, and several inches of snow may fall.
Interstate 70, west of Goodland, is closed due to winter weather in Colorado. The Colorado State Patrol says the closures are due to adverse conditions, multiple crashes and jackknifed semi-trucks.
The City of Wichita says crews will continue to clear streets, rotating 12-hour shifts throughout while there is snow.
