What We’re Tracking Snow showers tonight Drying out Friday Slight warming this weekend A storm system will move to our south tonight into early Friday will clip us with some passing areas of light snow, but that should quickly pass by us. The brunt of that storm completely misses our viewing area. Around I-70 and towards the south will have the best shot to see 1-3" of accumulation with some isolated pockets up to 4". The farther north you go the more likely you are to see a dusting to an inch. Snow should move out before daybreak Friday, but we hang on to cloud cover. Highs should continue to stay around freezing in the lower 30s. With a north wind, it'll feel a little colder than that. By the weekend, temperatures should be climbing just above freezing for a couple hours each day. Combining that with some sunshine and we will start the slow process of melting some of our snowpack.
