Hanover County officials provide update on water issues and boil advisory

HANOVER COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) -- Hanover County leaders headed to Facebook this afternoon to provide a live update on the current state of the county and its water supply.
Officials announced that water is now fully into the systems -- which brings the county closer to ending the boil water advisory.
According to the county, after additional testing is carried out within the next 48 hours, the advisory is expected to end by Saturday.

County officials confirmed that:
Residents of the county that are located East of Interstate 95 will remain under the boil water advisory until further notice.
Residents of the county that are located in Ashland, Doswell and west of I-95 are not under a boil advisory.

Cold Harbor Elementary -- located at 6740 Cold Harbor Rd.
Thursday, Jan. 9, until 7 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 10, from noon to 6 p.m.
Atlee High School -- located at 9414 Atlee Station Rd.
Thursday, Jan. 9, until 7 p.m.
Friday, Jan. 10, from noon to 6 p.m.
Hanover Courthouse Complex -- located at 7497 County Government Complex Rd.
Thursday, Jan. 9, until 7 p.m.
Bass Pro Shops -- located at 11550 Lakeridge Pkwy
Thursday, Jan. 9, until 7 p.m.
New water-fill station:
7989 Stonewall Pkwy (The old Winn Dixie parking lot)
Only open on Friday, Jan. 10 from noon to 6 p.m.
