NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A Norfolk man has been arrested and charged in connection to a robbery and assault on a Hampton Roads Transit light rail train last month, Norfolk Police said. Norfolk police release footage of suspect in robbery near light rail Silvero Brown Jr. Silvero Brown Jr., 32, of Norfolk, has been charged with robbery and assault in connection to a Dec. 27 incident in which police said a man armed with a knife had taken items from a victim on a light rail train on Mississippi Avenue near the Ingleside Station light rail stop. No injuries were reported in the incident. Brown was taken into custody around 9:30 a.m. Thursday and is currently being held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond, police said.
