Announcing 2025 New Orleans CityBusiness event deadlines

Every year New Orleans CityBusiness honors outstanding business professionals in the New Orleans area with our special events and publications.
From Driving Forces, which celebrates individuals who have had a significant impact on the New Orleans business community, to Best Places to Work, these events are designed to keep you connected, informed and involved.
Here are the 2025 nomination deadlines for CityBusiness events:
Power List: New Executives recognizes executives newly hired or promoted at businesses and organizations in the New Orleans area. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Jan. 17.
Power List: Tourism & Hospitality recognizes influential individuals who work in their industry. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Feb. 7.
Driving Forces marks 45 years of New Orleans CityBusiness as a publication by honoring 45 business leaders who have made significant contributions to the economic development of the New Orleans area. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Feb. 28.
Power List: Human Resources Leaders recognizes influential individuals in their industry. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. May 9.
Empowering Women recognizes companies and organizations that have shown a strong commitment to supporting and elevating women in the New Orleans area. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. May 16.
Leadership in Law celebrates outstanding legal professionals whose successes in law and contributions to the community have set the pace for the legal community. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. June 6.
Health Care Heroes highlights outstanding men and women in the health care industry whose contributions have increased the well-being of the community. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. June 6.
Best Places to Work recognizes the city’s top employers, including large companies and small. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. June 27.
Power List: Most Influential recognizes significant business leaders in the New Orleans area. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. June 27.
ICON Awards honors outstanding business leaders who have had a lasting influence on the city’s economic development and made their mark on the city overall. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. July 11.
In the Lead: Best Women-Owned Businesses special section recognizes businesses that are owned by women and which demonstrate success across a broad spectrum of criteria. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. July 21.
Women of the Year and Nonprofit Organizations recognizes women and nonprofits who are leaders in the community. Nominations for Women of the Year and Nonprofit Organizations are due by 5 p.m. August 4.
In the Lead: Best Family-Owned Businesses special section recognizes businesses that are owned by families and which demonstrate success across a broad spectrum of criteria. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 14.
Power List: Banking & Finance recognizes influential individuals in their industry. Nominations are due by 5 p.m. Oct. 17.
