DE PERE, Wis. (WFRV) - A De Pere High Schooler is off to Nottingham, England, as part of the Team U.S.A. synchronized skating team. Senior Mikayla Garot is part of the team that will compete at the Britannica Cup from January 10-12, as she and her United States teammates go head-to-head with other teams. The competition lasts two days. Garot also earned a 'platinum' level from the U.S. Figure Skating Association, the highest level a high school senior skater can earn.
