HOWARD, Wis. (WFRV) - The Village of Howard has announced that it will be adding a Safe Haven Baby Box to one of its fire stations, becoming the only one in northeast Wisconsin. A Facebook post from the Village of Howard states that Fire Station #1's Safe Haven Baby Box will be officially dedicated on January 18. Howard Fire Rescue's baby box will be the only one throughout northeast Wisconsin and is only one of four in the entire state. Local 5 is planning on covering the dedication of the baby box that Saturday.
