(WFRV) - Authorities in Wisconsin have confirmed the arrest of Virgil Thew, who is accused of killing a woman and her two children. According to the Juneau County Sheriff’s Office, Thew was taken into custody on Thursday at around 11:45 a.m. in the city of Elroy following a significant law enforcement operation in the area. Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers declares energy emergency, what that means: Thew had been the focus of an extensive manhunt after being identified as the suspect in the killings. The victim was identified as Elizabeth Kolba, while the names of her two children, ages 12 and 13, are being withheld.
