EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A body was found outside of Las Palmas Medical Center on Thursday morning, Jan. 9, near UTEP, El Paso Police said. Police say they responded just after 8 a.m. on Thursday to Las Palmas Medical Center located at 1801 N. Oregon St., in reference to a welfare check. A man was found dead in the area. The man's cause of death has not been determined, police say. The incident is being treated as a death investigation.
