EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) – Due to cold temperatures and some snow showers, some schedule changes will occur across El Paso on Friday, Jan. 10. El Paso Independent School District El Paso ISD will be on a two-hour delay for Friday, Jan. 10. Extended-day learning will not operate in the morning and will resume normal activities in the afternoon. Socorro Independent School District Socorro ISD will be on a delayed start on Friday, Jan. 10. All schools will start two hours from their normal starting time. Morning Pre-K three-year-old classes are canceled for the day. Transportation will be provided two hours from normal pick-up times. Breakfast services will be provided per the two-hour delay. San Elizario Independent School District San Elizario ISD will be operating on an hour and 30-minute delayed start schedule. Elementary schools will begin at 8:50 a.m. and secondary schools will begin at 9:35 a.m. Bus stops will operate on an hour and 30-minute delay from regular pick-up times. Canutillo Independent School District Canutillo ISD will be delaying the start of classes and office hours on Friday, Jan. 10. All classes and pick-up times will start two hours later than normal. Breakfast services will be "suspended" for Friday, the district said. Clint Independent School District Clint ISD will be implementing a two-hour delayed start on Friday, Jan. 10. The district's school buildings will be open at their regular start times to accommodate families who need to drop off their children before the delayed start time. Breakfast will be available for all students. Buses will operate on a two-hour delay as well. Gadsden Independent School District Gadsden ISD will shift to virtual remote instruction at the normal start times on Friday, Jan. 10. Radford School Radford School will be operating on a two-hour delay for students and faculty on Friday, Jan. 10. Administrative and maintenance personnel should report at their normal times, using caution while traveling. Las Cruces Public Schools Las Cruces Public Schools will be having a delayed start on Friday, Jan. 10. All classes will begin two hours later than regular. Bus schedules will be adjusted accordingly. Enrique Moreno Courthouse The Enrique Moreno Courthouse will be starting at a delayed time of 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10. El Paso County Offices The El Paso County Courthouse and its satellite offices will have a delayed opening of 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10. Third Judicial District Court The Third Judicial District Court and the Doña Ana County Magistrate Courts will be open to the public at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10. El Paso Police Department All EPPD's regional command centers, including headquarters, will open at a delayed time of 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 10.
