(U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo.) — The U.S. Air Force Academy (USAFA) has temporarily adjusted its access to the installation for visitors, which now affects athletic events. While base remains open, those who do not have a DoD ID card will need to obtain a pass to enter the installation. Fans who are attending an athletic event throughout the weekend of Friday, Jan. 10 through Monday, Jan. 12. will need to obtain a pass. Here are the links for the games this week: Women's Gymnastics vs. LIU, click here. Ice Hockey vs. Bentley, click here. Women's Swimming and Diving vs. UNC/Colorado Mines/UTRGV, click here. Men's Basketball vs. San Jose State, click here. Once registered, individuals will receive a message on their phone about approval. Each adult requesting a base pass must present a valid driver's license to scan at the gate when entering the Academy. Individuals who are under 18 with an approved adult may access the installation for athletic events. Fans will also present game tickets for ticketed events when entering each venue.
