BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) -- College bound high school seniors have an opportunity to attend a workshop on Friday to learn how they can claim free cash for college. Youth 2 Leaders Education Foundation is hosting a free community workshop tomorrow, Jan. 10, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Beale Memorial Library Auditorium. Beale Memorial Library is located at 701 Truxtun Ave. ‘Targeted enforcement arrests’: Border Patrol breaks silence, reveals details on Kern County operation Continuing college students and returning adult learners that need help with financial aid applications are also welcome to attend. Students can also get help completing their California Dream Act Application, the foundation said through a news release. Snacks will be available, as well as giveaways.
