Police search for roadraging driver who struck pedestrian in Commerce City hitandrun

Commerce City police are searching for the driver of a Wednesday, road rage hit-and-run crash that sent a pedestrian to the hospital.
The pedestrian was walking in the 6200 block of East 62nd Avenue around 10 a.m. Wednesday when he got into a “road rage altercation” with a passing car, according to the Commerce City Police Department.
Police said the driver then intentionally crashed into the pedestrian before fleeing the scene.

The car was found Wednesday afternoon and impounded by police, but investigators said they don’t yet know who was behind the wheel.
The pedestrian was seriously injured but is expected to survive, police said.
