College Wrap: TCNJ men’s basketball puts up 100 in win over Rowan

EWING — The TCNJ men’s basketball team hit the century mark and secured a huge win in doing so.
Jack Vreeswyk scored 23 points, Nick Koch finished with 21 and the Lions raced past Rowan, 100-75, on Wednesday night at Packer Hall to get back to .500 in NJAC play.
Vreeswyk connected on 5-of-7 from beyond the arc as TCNJ (10-3, 3-3) made 12 total. Matthew Okorie tallied 18 points and Jonathan Okocha and Matthew Solomon had 11 each to give the Lions five in double figures.
Brycen Williams led the Profs (7-6, 4-2) with 19 points.
Women
Minnesota 76, Rutgers 50
MINNEAPOLIS — Star freshman Kiyomi McMiller traveled with the team, but was a late scratch and the Scarlet Knights (8-8, 0-5) remained winless in the Big Ten after a loss to the Golden Gophers (15-1, 4-1). Destiny Adams was the lone bright spot for Rutgers as she finished with a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds, while also going over 1,000 career point.

EWING — Nina Branchizio netted 15 points, Arianna McLeod added 15, Grace Kowalski had 13 and the Lions (10-3, 6-0) maintained first place in the NJAC by stifling the Profs (8-5, 4-2) in holding them to 28.8% shooting.
