Clippers’ Kawhi Leonard leaves team before game in Denver because of wildfires in LA area Springfield Mayor Sarno was in attendance and said to keep an eye on this team as they have the potential to make the state tournament. “Congratulations to John J. Duggan Academy junior Allen Miranda on achieving this significant milestone and making Duggan basketball history as the first player in the school’s history to score 1000 career points. I was in attendance with Principal Mike Calvanese and as ‘Sade’ sings, Allen is ‘a smooth operator too!’ I had the pleasure to meet Allen and his family prior to the game too. Allen, this is a testament to your talent and discipline, along with your hard work and great sportsmanship, which continues to make your family, coaches, teammates, school community, and city proud. I also commend Duggan Coach and Ward 5 City Councilor Lavar Click-Bruce and the entire (undefeated 5-0) Duggan Jayhawks staff and team on a great win Monday. Continued success on and off the court. God Bless.” The Jayhawk's next game is Thursday at Ludlow High School. Thu Jan 9 7:00 PM @ Ludlow High School Tue Jan 14 7:00 PM vs ST.
