SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (WWLP) - A student at Duggan Academy in Springfield scored his 1,000th point making basketball history for the school. During the varsity basketball game on Monday held at Duggan Academy against Chicopee's Hampden Charter School of Science, junior Allen Miranda slammed a significant milestone in basketball history as the first player in Duggan’s history to score 1000 career points.
