Pittsburgh Restaurant Week’s winter iteration kicks off on Monday, Jan. 13, meaning more than 40 Pittsburgh restaurants will feature their flavors through prix fixe lunches or dinners for the next seven days.Offerings range from single entrees to three-course dinners and all cost between $20.25 and $45.25. The site recommends you mention Restaurant Week “to your host/server to ensure you are getting the entire Restaurant Week experience.”The winter 2025 event welcomes six new eateries to the lineup. Sewickley’s Andora is putting its Australian half rack of lamb on the menu, while the North Shore Tavern is offering a three-course dinner with three options per course. The other four newcomers are all DeeJay’s BBQ Ribs & Grille locations; its Wexford, Bridgeville and Washington joints, alongside Murrysville’s DeeJay’s Lounge, will be serving DeeJay’s BBQ Platter, which comes with pulled pork, ribs, pulled chicken and two sides. For winter 2025 Restaurant Week, Emporio: A Meatball Joint is serving a three-course combo meal. This includes Mitchell’s Fish Market, Scratch & Co., Fujiya Ramen, Piada Italian Street Food and Emporio: A Meatball Joint. Some of these spots — like Downtown’s Emporio, which will serve either a soup or salad, one of four meatball bowls and Ricotta Doughnuts — are also open for lunch service, making them prime lunch break locales.“We really just want people to come in and try the food,” says Alyssa Kukonik, the marketing director for Emporio’s parent company, Sienna Mercato.About 14 returning eateries — including the Melting Pot, Muddy Waters Oyster Bar, The Coxcomb, Paris 66 and LeMont — are adding entirely new dishes to their Restaurant Week menu. LeMont is showing off four new entrees: Pistachio-Crusted Salmon with cranberry chutney, Parmesan-Crusted Chicken over pasta, a 10-ounce sirloin with black truffle butter and a 12-ounce pork chop with pepper chutney.LeMont’s new Pistachio-Crusted Salmon with cranberry chutney, right, and Parmesan-Crusted Chicken over pasta entrees. To beat Restaurant Week crowds, stop in at Revival on Lincoln, Garbarino’s, Sullivan’s Steakhouse, The Grand Concourse and more before Sunday, Jan. 12. Khalil’s Middle Eastern Restaurant is taking the Early Access opportunity to offer their Sunday brunch at a discounted price — $29.25, compared to the usual $34.Also part of Khalil’s Restaurant Week menu is a brand new featured entree: Fetteh. The dish is chickpeas in a tahini yogurt sauce on top of fried pita chips, topped with sweet pomegranate seeds, butter and garlic.“That’s a traditional Damascene breakfast or brunch or dinner,” says Dalel Khalil, who owns the restaurant with her sister, Leila. “When I was in Damascus, that’s what you ate … that’s just what they’re known for. So we wanted people to really experience Damascus, and Syria as a whole.”Khalil’s Winter Restaurant Week 2025 offerings: Signature Salad, Lamb Kebsa and Fetteh, a chickpea and yogurt dish from Damascus. It’s found a permanent home on Khalil’s Sunday brunch menu. The full list of participating restaurants, menus and reservation information is available on Pittsburgh Restaurant Week’s website.
