WYNNEWOOD, Okla. (KFOR) - Snow is beginning to fall in parts of Oklahoma as winter weather moves into the state. KFOR Meteorologist Aaron Brackett is tracking the snow as it begins to fall south of the metro in areas like Purcell, Newcastle, Pauls Valley, Wynnewood, Blanchard and Lawton. KFOR has weather trackers out keeping an eye on the snowfall and road conditions. According to Brackett, the snow is just beginning and the OKC metro is included in a Winter Storm Warning. Bands of snow will continue moving north from mid morning through the afternoon and evening hours. This will be a long duration, but relatively light snow event. There will be some times of moderate snow, especially in the afternoon.
