NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) - Lake Taylor High School in Norfolk was placed under a lockdown on Thursday due to a "suspicious situation," police said. According to officials, around 10:40 a.m., officers were dispatched to Lake Taylor High School for reports of a possible active shooter. While officers investigated the report, the school was put under a lockdown. Police said there was no active shooter, and they were unable to recover a weapon. No injuries were reported.
