NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — From Jan.13 to Jan. 19, multiple restaurants and bars in the French Quarter will be participating in the Fleur Du Coeur, a promotion set to raise funds for the families of the Bourbon Street attack victims.
"There's so many great restaurants down in that corridor on Bourbon Street in the surrounding areas that have been impacted by this, but rather than let it keep them down there they're rallying together," New Orleans & Co. President Walt Leger said.

Some participating restaurants will choose a single dish or drink to highlight for the week with all proceeds of that item going to the families.
Other locations will donate 10% of all profits from that week.
Participating restaurants include:
Red Fish Grill
Bourbon House
Palace Cafe
Dickie Brennan’s Steakhouse
Felix’s Restaurant & Oyster Bar
Galatoire’s
Acme Oyster House
GW Fins
Mr. B’s Bistro
Arnaud's Restaurant and French 75 Bar
Restaurant R’evolution
Voodoo Chicken
21st Amendment
Patrick’s Bar Vin
The Drinkery
"We got together as a group of owners, restaurant owners, bar owners, etc., And determined that we wanted to help in any way that we could," Galatoire's CEO Melvin Rodrigue said.
Many of those participating say that the pain of this attack is still affecting them greatly as they are right near where it took place.
"This is kind of hard for me to talk about because it was so close. If that had happened sooner than later maybe one of us you know would have been involved but we're grateful that we weren't involved in any of the incidents. We are also grateful to lend out a helping hand and make contributions to those families," Felix's Restaurant & Oyster Bar Hospitality Specialist Ty Green said.

They say this promotion is just another simple act to let them know that they are not alone during their difficult recovery.
"It's wonderful. This is what I call the New Orleans comradery, you know? Sometimes we compete together those restaurants and those bars; when something like that so tragic happens, well everyone get together and we create a Super Bowl team and hopefully we raise a lot of money for those families," Patrick's Bar Vin General Manager Patrick Van Hoorebeek said.
