Police say two men inside the restaurant argued at the bar before employees asked them to leave. When they went outside, witnesses say the two men got into a physical fight.
During the fight, one of the men allegedly pulled out a gun and fired two to three shots at the other man.
That is when the shooting victim ran back into the restaurant to get away from the suspect. He was taken to Baptist East by a friend before being transferred to Regional One Hospital in non-critical condition.

Police say video footage from the scene aligned with what witnesses told them. They say the suspect was then seen running to his car and driving off southbound through the parking lot.
