COLUMBIA, S.C. (WOLO) – One local church is celebrating the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with a special program this month. Chappelle Memorial AME Church’s annual MLK Day program is on Monday, January 20 at 10 a.m. at 1101 Pine St. Curtis spoke with the church’s pastor Rev. Michael Buckson & church steward Robert Reese about how this program aims to inspire the community to use Dr. King’s teachings to come together and help one another.
