Nebraska woman pleads guilty to reduced charge in case of kids living in squalor

LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) — A Nebraska woman accused of running a drug house where four kids lived in filth has taken a plea deal. Cortney Connelly, 32, pleaded guilty Wednesday to negligent child abuse, a misdemeanor. She was initially facing felony child abuse, and three other charges were dropped under a plea agreement.
