Mary said her sister was last seen on Saturday in the area of Berkshire Road in Fayetteville. According to Fayetteville police, she was last seen getting into a light-colored four-door sedan with a sunroof, wearing gray sweatpants and a dark-colored shirt.
"We don't know who she got into a car with," Mary said. "It's scary because it was nighttime, and of course, I'm going to go to the worst possible scenario.
According to her sister, Heather has limited use of her right leg and arm and walks with a limp.
"Heather does have health disabilities and is in need of the medication that she takes daily," Mary said.
Heather's sister and parents are actively collecting tips, which they promptly pass on to investigators in the hope that they will lead to a breakthrough.
"The last text message that comes up on her phone is at 12:10 am," Mary said. "There's a period before her last message comes through."
But Mary said she is doing all she can to bring her sister back home safely.
"It's all in God's hands," Mary said. "He knows where she is. He'll bring her home. All you can do is pray for her and do the best we can to bring her home."
