RALEIGH, N.C. (WNCN) — A suspect was arrested Wednesday in connection with a deadly shooting at a parking garage near a children's museum last week, police said. According to the Raleigh Police Department, officers responded to a reported shooting in a parking garage on South Wilmington Street across South Blount Street from Marbles Kids Museum. The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Gas station clerk abducted during Winston-Salem robbery; suspect, victim found in Tennessee On Wednesday, police said the victim, 45-year-old Damien Devon Smith, had died. The same day, Solomon Elijah Campbell, 20, was taken into custody. He is charged with murder, according to Raleigh police.
