Cold sunshine before more snow arrives

A small wedge of high pressure will bring some sunshine to the area but don't expect much of a warm-up. A western front arrives Friday bringing some measurable snow.
Light winds will take chills down into the teens today
Snow showers early this morning with skies becoming mostly sunny by mid-morning and high temperatures only in the lower 20s by noon.
Afternoon sunshine won't warm us up with a high in the middle 20s and light winds.
Skies will become mostly cloudy overnight with lows falling into the teens.
Snow will begin during the afternoon on Friday
Snow showers will begin by afternoon Friday and continue through the early evening before clearing overnight. 1 to 2" around Fort Wayne and 1-3" north of Fort Wayne.
1 to 2" in areas around Fort Wayne with slightly heavier snowfall north of Fort Wayne
Weekend temperatures get a little warmer with a high in the upper 20s on Saturday and near 30 Sunday.
Snow ends by the late evening of Friday
A 'clipper' type front moves in from the northwest overnight Monday causing temperatures to plunge into the teens Tuesday and Wednesday. Wind chills will be below zero.
It will be slightly warmer on Thursday and finally climb above freezing by the end of next week.
