FRESNO, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE)– Former Fresno State star and current New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr announced he and his family are moving to Fresno this offseason. Carr shared his plans for this summer on Wednesday, including getting healthy and moving back to the Central Valley. These Central Valley firefighters are going to L.A. County to battle the wildfires "I'm excited for our kids to have a place they can call home. We've moved a lot and they've been asking me where we're gonna grow up forever. We always told them Fresno," said Carr. "We finally get to do that," Carr added. "The kids are excited to do that. I'm excited for those things in the offseason. Football takes a little bit of a backseat when it's family time." Derek Carr became the Bulldogs’ career leader in passing yards (12,842) from 2009 to 2013. Carr has two years left on the free agent deal he signed with the New Orleans Saints before the 2023 season.
