Suspect arrested in deadly Lincoln Park shooting

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) -- Authorities made an arrest Tuesday after the shooting and killing of a 19-year-old man over the weekend in the Lincoln Park neighborhood.
Edwin Aguayo, 21, was identified as one of the suspects arrested, Lt. Daniel Meyer with the San Diego Police Department said in a news release Wednesday. Police are still searching for a second suspect.
The shooting occurred Sunday morning in the area of 300 Willie James Jones Avenue, according to SDPD.
When officers arrived on scene, they found a man, now identified as 19-year-old David Solis of Tijuana, Mexico, in the street suffering from at least one gunshot wound in the torso. He was taken to a hospital, where he died from his injuries.

Prior to the shooting, authorities determined two men were spray-painting gang graffiti on a wall in the area of 300 Willie James Jones Avenue.
"They were subsequently involved in an altercation with Solis, during which Solis was shot," Meyer said.
On Tuesday night, authorities were able to locate and arrest Aguayo, who was in a vehicle in the area of Interstate 5 and Del Mar Heights Road.
